INTRODUCTION TO PINARELLO

Pinarello’s premium, prestigious, race-crafted machines rolled into existence in 1952 thanks to the dedication and vision of Giovanni Pinarello – father of the current CEO, Fausto Pinarello. Giovanni’s ‘meticulous attention to perfection’ began with timeless steel classics.

Pinarello’s road racing palmarès is extensive and includes 26 Grand Tour victories since its first Giro d’Italia triumph in 1975 beneath, much like Pinarello itself, the elegant frame of Fausto Bertoglio. Pedro Delgado rode Pinarello to its first Tour de France victory in 1988, and it’s at the world’s biggest race that Pinarello’s dominated in recent years, its 10-season relationship with Team Sky leading to six Tours de France amongst eight Grand Tour wins, most recently propelling Geraint Thomas to victory. As of February 2019, the collaboration had realised an incredible 136 wins.

Today, the same cutting-edge approach as Giovanni Pinarello is maintained, but it’s applied to high-tech materials including top-grade carbon. Cue the revered Dogma F10, ridden by multiple Grand Tour-winning Team Sky; the new Prince FX performance road bike; the triathlon-specific Bolide TR, ridden by record-breaking Ironman Cameron Wurf; the new gravel speed machine, the Grevil; the game-changing Nytro e-road bike; plus many more born of the same passion and desire to perform…

Our Bike Families

DOGMA

Pinarello’s flagship race bike, ridden by Team Sky to Grand Tour success. The Dogma’s appeal is as widespread as it is long-standing: the tactile handling, its aerodynamic and stiff tubing, the advanced carbon composition… This Italian racing legend is Pinarello’s fastest machine to date, and is offered in a comprehensive series with a range of different specification levels. You can go all-out Froome and Thomas with the F10; choose the disc option; sub-85kg riders might seek to shave even more weight with the X-Light; or go for the K model – available in caliper and disc – that has a slightly more relaxed geometry. Ultimately, the Dogma is the bike for road riders for whom speed is everything.

PRINCE

Before the Dogma rolled into town, the Prince was Pinarello’s premium road option. It underwent a makeover, reappeared to much acclaim in 2018 and is now aimed at the more price-conscious racer. The Prince still enjoys the same cutting-edge asymmetric frame, internal cable routing and ‘FlatBack’ tube profiling as the Dogma but is constructed from T700 and T900 carbon instead of the T1100 used on the Dogma. Still fast, still comfortable, still aero.

GAN

The Pinarello Gan range is ideal for anyone competing in a sportive or simply looking for the most comfortable bike to enjoy long training rides. The geometry is more relaxed than that of the Dogma and there are also ‘EasyFit’ versions, widening the available range for a size that’ll perfectly match any rider’s dimensions and riding experience. That versatility extends to even greater comfort and stopping power as the Gan also comes in the K model – to fit wider 28mm tyres – and a disc-brake version.

NYTRO

Pinarello’s game-changing electric road bike is one of the lightest, most powerful models in this growing category. The frame is inspired by the Dogma, but given a boost by up to 400 watts of power. There are four settings: No Support (0 watts), Breeze (125 watts), River (250 watts) and Rocket (400 watts). The Pinarello Nytro is for road cyclists who are after an occasional helping hand, or are ready to extend their ride and go further and faster.

BOLIDE

Pinarello’s Bolide rode into the history books in 2015 when Sir Bradley Wiggins smashed the World Hour Record on the Bolide HR track bike. The Bolide TT and TR are also incredibly fast bikes. The Bolide TT, aimed at time-trialists, is all about cutting drag and maximising speed, with asymmetric carbon frame, cut-out downtube and lightweight aerobars. The same streamlined geometry and frame transfers to the premium triathlon TR variant, which comes equipped with innovative drinking and food-storage solutions.

GREVIL

Gravel racing is the fastest-growing sector of cycling and demands a bike that effortlessly copes with the elements – performing superbly, whatever the speed. Enter Pinarello’s Grevil whose unique, stylish design marries aerodynamics, comfort and durability. The carbon frame comes in versions that accommodate both 650c and 700c wheels, while disc brakes provide consistent and reliable stopping power on any terrain.

CROSSISTA

Pinarello’s heritage in the rough and tumble world of cyclocross is impressive, and includes supplying the race-winning bikes for legendary cyclocross World Champion Daniele Pontoni. Fast-forward to the present and Pinarello continue to tame every trail thanks to the lightweight Crossista. Two models, the Crossista+ and Crossista, are meticulously crafted from carbon, while 42mm tyre clearance and aero tubing boost both comfort and speed.

TREVISO

Pinarello’s refined city bike, dedicated to Pinarello’s Italian home of Treviso, is fast, stylish and handles beautifully. The Treviso features a unique geometry that’s both designed to negotiate the urban jungle and effortlessly consume miles on long-distance rides. The lightweight, flat handlebar steers you into a more upright, comfortable riding position, and that comfort is further heightened by the gentle flex of the aluminium frame.
